Hello and welcome. In this article, I'll show you how to add your own music to TikTok. The first thing you need to do before going on TikTok, you would simply find the audio that you plan on using. So, for example, if it is a song from YouTube, you would simply turn on Screen Record on your device and you simply screen record the song. After doing that, you can open YouTube or if you would like to record the song otherwise, for example, do a voiceover, I will also show you how to do that. First, you are going to tap on the plus at the bottom just like you normally do to upload a video.
And from here, you are going to tap on upload in the bottom right hand corner. And you are going to upload the video with the audio that you plan on using if it's a song of YouTube or so on.
Then you are going to tap on next in the bottom right hand corner.
After doing this, you would continue along and you would post this clip. But let's say it's a voiceover that you would like to record. Now to record a voiceover is actually quite easy. All you have to do is simply tap on the arrow pointing down and you are going to see the option.
Audio editing right here and you can simply tap on that.
Then you will see the option record in the left hand corner. You could simply tap on that to record a voiceover. And after doing that, you will simply tap on save in the top right hand corner.
Then you are going to tap on next. And right where you see who can watch this video, you are going to tap on that and you would select only me. After doing that, you are going to post the clip. But don't worry, it will not be post to the public as I said earlier.
It will be post privately. So only you will see it on your page. Next, you are going to go on your profile page. And you want to find that video that you had just posted. So you are going to simply tap on the lock icon. Then once you have found the video, you are going to tap on it. Then in the bottom right hand corner, right where you see the spinning around, you are going to tap on that icon. Then you can simply tap on it. Use this sound and now you can record the original video that you would like to post for the public on TikTok.
