Pinterest has added a new certification to its Pinterest Academy education platform, while it’s also added a new badge type to help showcase your Pin marketing knowledge.
Pinterest Academy offers a range of courses designed to help you make the most of Pinterest for your marketing efforts, while also demonstrating your knowledge, via approved certifications that you can add to your website.
And now, you have even more ways to demonstrate your Pin understanding, with updated courses in specific Pin marketing elements.
First off, Pinterest is launching a new “Media Planner” certification.
As explained by Pinterest:
“Already a pro at building effective media plans and driving results? The Pinterest Media Planner Certification is your chance to highlight your expertise in creating smart strategies, uncovering audience insights and delivering powerful outcomes for clients and brands. This will help you to set yourself apart in the industry and demonstrate your mastery of media planning on Pinterest.”
The course comprises of study notes and an exam, which is designed to demonstrate your understanding of how to use the various Pin tools at your disposal to effectively promote a business.
Pinterest also offers three other certification courses in “Advertising Essentials”, “Media Buyer Certification” and “Performance Essentials”, each of which enables you to earn official credentials that you can use to showcase your knowledge.
Pinterest has also added a new badge for its Pinterest Performance Essentials course, which is an entry-level education program for beginner Pin marketers.
“You’ll gain step-by-step knowledge, from campaign set-up to optimization and measurement. Complete the courses, pass a quick 20-question quiz and earn a digital badge that spotlights your new knowledge.”
Each course is available for free, and includes an education element, followed by an exam to showcase your understanding.
In addition to these new course elements, Pinterest is also now making its Performance Essentials courses available in more languages, while its Media Planner certification is also now available in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
